In November I drove to Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park for sunrise. Once the sun was up I decided to continue my drive south and explore a little. The park was quiet on this Tuesday morning and I followed a few deer down the road as they ambled along looking for breakfast!
I pulled into the Dark Hollow Falls parking lot and decided to try the hike. This was my first solo hike so I was a little nervous but it was fabulous, and exhausting! The hike is 1 1/2 miles down to the bottom of the falls but the hike back up felt like 3 miles 🙂

As I hiked back up I took one last photo with my phone. I really enjoyed my hike and finally seeing Dark Hollow Falls. I’m looking forward to my next hike!
