I didn’t expect to see moss growing on the buildings in downtown Portland.
In the Columbia River Gorge it covered everything that didn’t move. It softened the hard edges of concrete and made me want to reach out and touch it. I enjoyed the ethereal feel of the area.
Even some hanging moss from the trees!
It’s always fun to visit new places but after 5 days of rain I’ll admit I was ready to find some sunshine!

Wow!! The moss is beautiful!! Yes, I would get tired of the rain, too, though. May have to put this on my list of places to visit!
