As we prepare to fly to Portland OR and the weather here in VA teases us with a few warm days, Hank (my hubby) is starting to work on his GIANT vegetable garden.
And what does our trip to Oregon have to do with GIANT vegetables? Well, let me explain. We are heading to the Giant Pumpkin Commonwealth Conference in Portland! Hank is thrilled to spend a few days with fellow growers discussing all the things that affect growing GIANT vegetables. And no, I don’t know what they are but he’s excited and that’s good enough for me.
We get the added bonus of visiting a state we’ve never seen and spending a few days sightseeing. I’m looking forward to seeing Mt Hood and Canon Beach. With a new lens tucked in my bag I’m ready to fill a few memory cards.
